Introduction

Williamsport, Pennsylvania is the county seat of Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. It lies along the West Branch of the Susquehanna River, and is the base of the 1,600-foot Bald Eagle Mountains.

Once known as the "Lumber Capital of the World," Williamsport is currently referred to as the home of the Little League World Series. Approximately 29,549 people live in Williamsport and more than 70 million people live within 300 miles of the city, enjoying its cultural opportunities, a reasonable cost of living, and breathtaking surroundings.

According to the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce, summer temperatures average from mid-70’s to low to mid-80’s, while winter temperatures average in the low to mid-30’s. It average 40 inches of precipitation annually and an annual snowfall of 39 inches.
