Tons of sparkling ice art will grace downtown Market Street. Watch the award-winning First Night Ice Carvers create a giant sculptures in Hufnagle Park. Beautiful historic homes, tree-lined, lamp lit streets and a distinctive downtown shopping district provide the perfect backdrop to the Heart of Lewisburg Ice Festival. Kids love ice sculptures any day–it’s art they can touch, and in the park, even sit and crawl on. The event starts on Friday with sculpting in the park and late night shopping passes. Saturday is a great day with Ice Festival games in Hufnagle Park, the Polar Bear Plunge and The Chocolate Lovers Festival.
Friday, February 3th
Noon – Ice Carving begins on site in Hufnagle Park.
1-4 p.m. Watch the First Night Ice Carvers create ice sculptures in the park 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
6:30 p.m. A Cappella on Ice, Campus Theatre.

11 a.m. – 3 p.m., Chili Cook Off, Puirseil’s Irish Pub, South Sixth Street.
2 pm Polar Bear Plunge, St. George Street landing.
3:00 p.m. Chili Cook-Off Prizes announced, gazebo at Hufnagle Park.
6:30 – 10:30 p.m., Cocoa Fest, a chocolate lover’s festival for kids, at the Donald Heiter Community Center, 100 North Fifth Street. $10 per child
7 p.m. Chocolate Lover’s Festival, Lewisburg Hotel, 136 Market Street. All you can eat hors d’ oeuvres, all you can sample chocolate and beveragefor $25/person.
